Jordan XXX Review

  • May 15, 2017

The Jordan XXX is just one of the many, 30 is it? That many signature shoes made by Air Jordan is not a joke. They do mean business. Whenever a Jordan comes out, we need to take a closer look and pay attention to it. These are not regular sneakers. They are the standard and almost every year they maintain themselves as the standard.

Features and Details

• Textile
• Flight Speed plate that unleashes the energy of Zoom Air
• Jumpman logo on it in a bead printed pattern which is actually a lenticular lens
• A jacquard construction with Flyknit technology and a performance woven upper          combination
• Gleaming Outsole

Traction – In indoors you might find this pair to be the best ever pair when it comes to its traction. However, that is not how we test or rank a shoe. How is it in outdoors? It still is fantastic. Will give you better traction that the shoes mentioned above the Jordan XXX for sure. Although it gives such great service in traction, if you over use it or on average use it multiple times a week, you will notice it to be wearing out. Yes, that is its only negative point here. It will wear out faster than the shoes mentioned above. But, it will give you the best traction experience for the first few months when it has most of its life.

Cushion – To be quite honest, the Air Jordan XXX contains the same cushioning system as the Air Jordan XX9, the previous model. That alone is excellent! Because we cannot ask for something so perfect to be even more perfect. Sometimes we need to appreciate the comfort and specialty when we have it. Should not take it for granted. They could’ve decreased the quality and still make you pay a high price? Right? The heel to toe transition is smoother than the XX9s, so that part has an improvement to appreciate.

Materials – The style and fashion is more concentrated than the XX9s. The performance woven is more narrow on the upper this time. The materials are pretty much the same here and there, just the styling has changed. It takes you into the future when you look at it. They focused on style more this time around, sacrificing softness for hardness. Depending on the individual that may be a turn on or a turn “off.”

Fit – The fit is undeniably bizarre. It is so good that you might feel deceived. Too good to be true kind of thing. But that is what the Jordans do. They feel really great once you have them on. However, certain parts of your foot may have to take the sacrifice. In this case it is the heel. If you are a heel player, you might not feel the comfort most of us are feeling. That may be distracted a bit with the addition of fly knit. It wraps your foot around the collar area. Fit is great, but again like we said, the heel may be in discomfort, depending on the player.

Support

The support is actually pretty much the same as the fit. It sacrifices certain areas for the overall well-being and safety for your ankles. For example. The heel may be at sacrifice here. Many players do say that the support is not bad at all, but the heel area is an issue. If you do jump off using most of your heel then these sneakers might be a tough one for you. If are use your toes often, then these sneakers are your savior.

Conclusion

They can certainly improve in the heel area. But the comfort and traction are so great that is actually takes a bit away from it, time by time. That is the negative part about these Jordan XXXs. The durability factor is also at issue here. They invested in a pair of sneakers for the short term. If you have 1 game and have to win that game and need a pair that will give you the best performance on, then you should go with the UA ClutchFit Drive or the Air Jordan XXXs. It is more for a tournament semi final or final, rather than a 5 month routine pair of sneakers. That too for outdoors? Wild!
